8.6.2002 se stal realitou dlouho očekávaná zápas s Mikem Tysonem, jenže ten v té době byl již daleko od svých skvělých výkonů a Lennox jej tvrdě poslal k zemi v 8. kole
2003: Poslední zápas kariéry
21.6.2003 Se Lennox postavil ke svému poslednímu zápasu a jeho soupeřem nebyl nikdy jiný než další legendární boxer Vitali Klitschko. Ačkoliv měl Klitschko v zápase mírnou převahu, tak jeho tělo nedokázalo odolat tvrdejm ranám Britského borce a zápas byl ukončen technickým KO pro mnohočetné krvácení z hlavy Ukrajinského boxera.
